Hepatic is a complete dietary food for cats recommended to support liver function in cases of chronic liver insufficiency. Indications: cholangitis/cholangiohepatitis; portosystemic shunt; hepatic encephalopathy; chronic hepatitis; disorders of copper metabolism. Contraindications: hepatic lipidosis without hepatic encephalopathy; acute hepatitis without hepatic encephalopathy; growth, pregnancy/lactation. In these cases, diets such as Gastrointestinal or Recovery are recommended.
