An annual plant. As soon as the soil thaws, seeds are sown directly into the ground in a 40×40 cm pattern, with a few seeds in each hole at a depth of 0.3 cm. It develops quickly and forms strong rosettes of light green leaves (7x6 cm) on long petioles, followed by branching stems that form bushes up to 80 cm tall. Afterward, inflorescences appear in the leaf axils. Initially orange-red, they gradually turn deep raspberry, juicy, and shiny as they ripen. The taste of ripe berries is very pleasant, reminiscent of mulberry or blackberry-raspberry hybrids. The berries ripen gradually, starting from the lower shoots, with the first ready in 1.5 months after sowing. An undemanding plant. The berries make excellent jam, delicious juices, and compotes. The leaves can be added to soups and salads.
