Preparation steps

Prepare the filling. Cut the chicken fillet into very small cubes or mince it. Add the chopped onion, salt, and pepper, and mix well.

Prepare the dough. Add eggs, flour, and salt to the potato mixture and mix until smooth.

Form the fritters. Heat a frying pan with oil. Place a spoonful of potato mixture in the pan, top with a little chicken filling, then cover with another layer of potato so that the filling is inside.

Frying. Fry the deruny on both sides until golden brown, 3-4 minutes on each side over medium heat.

Finishing. Transfer the finished deruny to a heatproof dish, cover with foil, and place in the oven at 180°C for 10 minutes to cook the chicken through.

Tip Serve fritters hot with sour cream, herbs or mushroom sauce.
