Preparation steps

Prepare the apples (10 minutes). Wash, peel and cut into slices or cubes

Mix the liquid ingredients (5 minutes). In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until light and fluffy, then pour in the kefir and vegetable oil and mix.

Combine the dry ingredients (3 minutes). In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt.

Knead the dough (5 minutes). Add the dry mixture to the liquid mixture in portions, stirring until smooth. The dough should be slightly thicker than pancake batter.

Prepare the baking tin (2 minutes). Grease the tin with butter and place some of the apples on the bottom.

Assemble the pie (3 minutes). Pour the dough over the apples, then arrange the remaining apples on top.

Bake (35–37 minutes). Place in an oven preheated to 180 °C and bake until golden brown. Check for doneness with a skewer — it should come out dry.

Cool and serve (5 minutes). Allow the pie to cool slightly, remove from the pan, cut into portions and serve.
